I have been very impressed with our PM, I was able to stop by our lot today and as has been the case our PM Mike is always there and in the thick of things. He has always taken time to talk with me and explain details about the building process, I apppreciate him taking time out for me. Our driveway was to be poured today and our lumber is also arriving ,with framing to start on Monday. We are excited!

OUR FOUNDATION HAS BEEN POURED ! ! !

Went by the lot today and was happy to see that our foundation has been poured. It was unbelievable how much activity was going on, the concrete people poured two lots while I was there. At one house they poured a driveway, and on another the foundation was poured. I expect things to really take off now that we have our foundation  in place. Our wood is expected to be here this week

BIG SURPRISES !

Excitement in the air stopped by our lot today, and our PM was on site as there are about 5 homes in close proximity to ours being built at the same time. This is our lot, since the last visit it has been dug  for the foundation to be poured the plumbing and electrical conduits are in. My PM says we are waiting on inspectors and that our foundation will either be poured Friday or Monday, our wood will also be delivered next week. Another pleasant surprise took place as I was watching all the work going on, a gentlemen walked up I asked if he was building and found out he is one of our neighbors who was there for his Pre Drywall meeting, God Is Good. I was really impressed with our PM Mike, he was very courteous and patient we talked for a bit, but he is really involved with the building process.

Pre Construction meeting

Yesterday was our pre construction meeting we met our Project Manager for the first time at the model in our development. In the meeting we reveiwed the plans and specs of our Milan and we also made sure that all of our selections were listed. Our PM seems to be very versed in the building process he has been with Ryan for 10 years, I was pleased to hear that. I asked if he used the same contractors, he informed us that he has been working with these contractors for an extended period of time. We visited our lot and the PM showed us how our home will be placed on the lot. Overall I am happy I wish we would have had a little more space on one side of the home, a little closer than I would really like. We are in a culdesac and so far there will only be 4 houses there for an extended period of time. All in all great meeting our delivery date is early May.
