Pre Construction meeting

Yesterday was our pre construction meeting we met our Project Manager for the first time at the model in our development. In the meeting we reveiwed the plans and specs of our Milan and we also made sure that all of our selections were listed. Our PM seems to be very versed in the building process he has been with Ryan for 10 years, I was pleased to hear that. I asked if he used the same contractors, he informed us that he has been working with these contractors for an extended period of time. We visited our lot and the PM showed us how our home will be placed on the lot. Overall I am happy I wish we would have had a little more space on one side of the home, a little closer than I would really like. We are in a culdesac and so far there will only be 4 houses there for an extended period of time. All in all great meeting our delivery date is early May.

  1. Congratulations! This time feels like it takes forever and goes so fast - both at the same time.

  2. We are in a cul-de-sac also and I'm really looking forward to that. Our cul-de-sac only has four houses and ours will be the last to be built. However, the house on the corner of our road (that faces the main road) has yet to be built, so we will have some construction around us. Our pre-construction meeting was this week also. I was hoping to see the lot staked, but that wasn't done yet. Congrats! Our delivery date is late May.

    1. Ours is a fairly large cul-de-sac, so there is space for about three more homes but Ryan is stopping after our home so they can finish another phase of the development.
